RE:PR Disaster Preaching to the choir, YoungGun- or, should I say half a choir and half a group of unsaveable heretics? :)
No later than yesterday, I was called "stupid" by a member of this board for asking for an official source announcing the availability of 3DGO on all Samsung 3DTVs. Apparently I should have been frantically refreshing the PDF format availability list hidden deep within the 3DGO website until it shown the latest information of availability. What, so no big announcement on the front page of the 3DGO website? No SIO PR? No SIO industry/market update? No 3DGO Facebook post? No SIO, 3DGO, or even Routhier tweet? (BTW YoungGun, whose tweet was it, because yeah, it's not from anyone at SIO).
Guy who called me stupid - you know who you are - tell me, if I had been a 3DGO customer eagerly awaiting for 3DGO to be deployed on my Samsung, would you expect me to keep digging on the 3DGO website until I find the latest availability list, or should that information be announced in big bold letters on all available advertising platforms to generate interest and excitement? By the way, I checked when the availability was last updated: October 13, or Tuesday. Does that mean you're stupid for only finding out a whole day later? Shouldn't you have been digging on the 13, as should have been any 3DGO customer, to find out that 3DGO was now available on your TV?
Seriously, if you wonder why the SP won't go up despite the Samsung deployment, the upcoming european launch and other supposedly good news, just look how horrible management has been (and still is) at execution. Oh, so the Samsung launch was done on time? You say it's a sign of things finally looking up and soaring stock prices ahead. I say it was about damn time they got it right, especially after over 2 years of operation and on their 4th deployment. And even then, they're still awful at pretty much everything else in that pee wee league operation.
