Trudeau junior is about to continue that policy and Mulcair wants fossil fuels production in Canada eliminated within 20 years.
Even worse is the blatant corruption of Liberals PMs from Trudeau sr ( Read my Lips ) to Mullrooney ( Air Canada Bribery Enquiry ) to Chretien ( Shawinigate and the massive Gomery Enquiry to the current construction bribery ).
Now, it seems that Trudeau's election Co Chair has been a paid lobbyist for TPP since last April and has already been greasing the wheels for when trudeau becomes PM..
When will we ever learn that Quebec PMs are great for Quebec but a disaster for the rest of canada.
As for Mulcair, well he wants all production of fossil fuels in canada eliminated within 20 years...thats when he is visiting Canada from his residence in France,,
he Financial Post reports in its Friday edition that Dan Gagnier has left a pot of rotten corporatism on Justin Trudeau's lap. The Post's Terence Corcoran writes that the Liberals initially dismissed the news that Mr. Gagnier, while co-chair of the Liberal election campaign, had provided advice to TransCanada on how it could move its Energy East pipeline through the thickets of a new government.
At first, the Liberals said no ethical standards had been broken.
Then, with fresh revelations, Mr. Trudeau announced Mr. Gagnier had resigned. It turns out Mr. Gagnier had not only been greasing the wheels of the Liberal party's relationship with TransCanada, he was also in the employ of TransCanada greasing the wheels of the company's relationship with the Liberals. TransCanada confirmed Mr. Gagnier was a contractor on the Energy East file since last spring.
It is not clear any legal conflict rules and lobbying regulations were broken. Mr. Corcoran, however, says it not kosher politically and on any ethical standard to have a top Liberal lounging around the lobby of a corporation looking for action. Mr. Gagnier recommended TransCanada jump aboard the climate-change bandwagon, which he has been touting for years.
