DEV

DEVHere are my thoughts on Dev and getting rid of him, for what it is worth...

1. I don't understand how any shareholder could ever trust him after he and the board agreed to the terms of the proposed merger.

2. Yes there were some positive aspects to the merger but Fission shareholders would have been diluted to too great a degree for what they would have received....I won;t reiterate that arguement

3. He said the compensation that he and Ross were to receive was really for the entire staff.....I am from misouri on that one...

4. When Fission shareholders turned down the merger, I would expect the entire board to look in the mirror and ask themselves some pointed questions. I would not expect them to use the excuse that they got over 50% approval from Fission shareholders and do nothing.

5. I would expect Dev and Ross to have a long conversation among themselves about what the NO vote means for them personally.

6. I would expect Dev to consider the possibility of stepping aside without having to be pushed/forced by a dissisent group.

7. However considering the great success that Dev and Ross have had it would not be surprising to find that the board would urge them to stay on in their current roles.

8. As much as I could never trust either Dev or Ross again, I would not want to see a shareholder revolt for many of the reasons already stated on this board.

9. If Dev decided to step aside or the board removed him, I would be nervous about who would replace him.

10 In the past I gave dEV THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT IN SPITE OF WARNINGS ABOUT HIS CHARACTER. Not any more. If he sold us out once he would do it again. The best predictor of future behaviuor is past behaviour.

11. In spite of this I agree with Quakes. Forced removal of Dev would be a very messy process and would drag us down in several ways, not just the share price.

12 Sometimes the devil you know is better than the devil you don't.

13 If the alternative is Ross, I would prefer Dev. Ross may be a good (or lucky) geologist but he is a lightweight and as far as character is concerned.......I have met him several times and was less than impressed....I'll just leave it at that....

14. Dev is full of himself.....he is living , eating and drinking, high on the hog and on the shareholders......those suits don't fit too well anymore...he gave himself away at the last meeting when he got angry at one of the questions...now he says to sell your shares if you don;t like management....arrogance at it;s finest.....he has clearly gotten too big for his britches (pardon the pun.....)......Cates and Lundin both outclass him....but worst of all he sold shareholders out......he should simply step aside without a push.....but he won't.....he still thinks he had shareholders best interests at heart......the problem (besides the arrogance) is a lack of intelligence....Lundin outsmarted Dev, Ross and the entire BOD.......or simply bought them out......

15 In my opinion we are stuck with him for now......it is a long road that doesn;t have a turn however....
