RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:time for AF and team to get SERIOUSTrust me not emotional in true since. Just mad
obviously a choice can be made for purchasing, I have always purchased my home. Yet most investment pro say renting can be better. Use your capital for other investments, like AVO

As i said, if I looked at this like I would a person I was observing or interviewing, I would see a young company, flush with cash, hiring like crazy to grow, good product etc,
i would look at what made them attract investers.  I would see it was advanced camera technology and that they were in a growth market with at the time maybe two other competitors. (Axis and arecont).   So what a fantastic and enviable position to be in.  It would also make your compitors very nervous and they would be ramping up and pulling out everything they had to ensure these upstarts did not sake their customers.

knowing the market was hot and had very entrenched companies, I would be shocked to then learn they were suddenly entering entirely different markets and withou first even beginning to get established they buy new digs.

That at is why I do not agree with the card access, analytics and buying of digs

they now have easily 8 - 10 very well established competitors.

if you look at 2-3 mega pixel market they have perhaps twenty to 50 compitors.

But it you say they have their VMS that many do not.  Very true but they don't need to because there are other very well established companies that do have VMS and who have solid relationships with the card access manufacturer who AVO has suddenly decided to compete against.

these VMS companies can take onvif compliant cameras from the cheapest Chinese manufacture for a fraction of the cost.  Speaking from twenty plus years of solid experience I can tell you that 99% of the cameras in use are deployed looking at doors or areas that are ten feet away.  A 2 mega pixel camera is MoORE than enough to do the job.  Seeing as users don't even monotone live, all the analytics in the world are of zero value

So my friend, AVO now has a TON of competition in the technology that being increasingly used.   Video is a great market, growing and all the old analogue cameras are being replaced.   So great industry to be in.   Their growth can easily continue because of this change over in tchnology.  but they now have a plethora of competirs who can easily do the same thing

so I can only hope they do not decide to buy a lock, X-ray machine, armoured card or tactical pants company.    That they focus only on video and get their price down

everyone have a great weekend
