RE:RE:RE:RE:steve williams handled takeover bid poorlyWilliam's way of handling this takeover will work only if target is in financial crisis near to filing bankruptcy protection, but COS is not.... From the figures I saw in the article released today, it appears the free cash flow is enough to cater for even 1.5 yr ( at a gross figure level 485 million shares of 0.2 $ dividend and -0.45$ of negative earnings per share) and there is most of the business credit line (not mentioned in today call but I recalled reading in some internet site citing about 0.85 B $ which can cater for another 1 yr.... Not that I want any fiscal crisis to COS, it is far far away from being regarded as in financial jeopardy... It is in some financial challenges due to abnormal slump in oil price but it has enough money to weather at least 2+ years from now.
