it could be a number of them eyeing Pivot.  Cognizant Accenture, Infosys, IBM, HP Capgemini and on and on.
your imagination is wrong.  You've been involved in owning companies that get acquired havent you?  minimum 40% bump. (maybe that isnt much more?) if the company is worthy of more than one suitor, a bidding war ensues.
