suncor dream of getting COS have evaporated

suncor dream of getting COS have evaporatedI re-read the presentation package of today conference call. One page listed the "low-ball" remark of Seymour, TD Asset Mgt and one other mutual fund stakeholder. One page cited COS has enough free cash to pay current dividend 0.20 at oil price 45 US$/bbl and cash flow increased accordingly with slight increase in bbl price. Another page of William's remarks to SU shareholders of oil price will be back to 90 to 100 $ upon time while bid for COS assumes prolonged oil price slump.... What a mess Williams have created for SU ! He had made his hostile bid so "cheap" that COS Mgt virtually didn't need to do or say much to justify the rejection of SU takeover bid as well as winning the support of ample of COS shareholders... In addition, with this hostile takeover hurdle with more people stood out to speak about COS asset value, it is golden publicity to clarify and advertise COS asset value.
