Voya Asia Pacific High Dividend Equity Income Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s investment objective is total return through a combination of current income, capital gains and capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing primarily in a portfolio of dividend yielding equity securities of Asia Pacific companies. The Fund will seek to achieve its investment objective by investing at least 80% of its managed assets in dividend producing equity securities of, or derivatives having economic characteristics similar to the equity securities of Asia Pacific Companies that are listed and traded principally on Asia Pacific exchanges. The Fund will invest in equity securities and will select securities through a bottom-up process that is based upon quantitative analysis. Voya Investments, LLC is an investment adviser of the Fund.

Why not a Hostile Bid

I posed this question to a couple of people who have experience in the NS. Their answers were identical. Aberdeen is a small town and if the buyer is in it for the long haul, then they had best play nice or they'll get run out of town. One of them gave an example of an ex OIL executive that is no longer wanted in the NS. And by God, you don't see him there anymore. If these assessments are correct, then Delek being a very long term player, could very well be willing to pay a fair price for IAE once the FPF-1 is on site. It would give them a leg up in Aberdeen, as the new kid on the block, and as the Crow would say, would make everyone golden. And that's without the bolt/strap on.
