I'm utterly speechless watching Valeant and CXR today. I can understand why the whole sector is being dragged down into the muck by these guys (stop losses, circuit breakers, margin calls etc ETC ETC), but to see the punishment Valeant is getting - while AFTER BEATING expectations - is just something I've never seen before. Those high P/E's are punishing shareholders hard.
Hard to say what Deerfield is thinking. If the merger had been approved we would have heard something. If it hasn't been, Deerfield must be making some phone calls. Interesting times, if not very profitable. Watch and see I guess.
