RE:RE:Kombat townPound, are you suggesting the deal is only 16 Million Namibian Dollars???? Good thing we dont have you looking after our Country's deficit and budget expenses ....perhaps Redeer was correct when he mentioned the figure changing eh???
The article specifically states N160 Million....so you drop a zero to convert to Canadian dollars for 16 Million Canadian Dollars.
Just My Humble Opinion /Take on this article Monster,....and judging by the fact the shares didnt have a massive run up today, is that Knowledge Katti wants to sell the Kombat town to the Government for a very large sum...N160 Million. There are several direct quotes in the article outlining that the Town is now owned by Katti himself...and we all know and have hashed this out on the boards many times...Kombat Copper divested the Town to Knowledge Katti....
The article suggests that the reporter checked with several sources to verify the information about the asking price and suggests the lawyer for Katti was disputing information given by sources yesterday that Katti had offered the government the mining town for N160 Million.
Tricky part on this is that Katti's lawyer suggests that the Government was represented by Otjoozondjupa regional leadership in this....So it appears the reporter contacts these fellas to verify...They denied any knowledge of the governement "expressing" any interest in buying Kombat, as did a few others.....
So to me, it looks like a Smoke Blowing contest...Interesting too, how this director of Kombat Knowledge Katti, could sell the government a town suggestedly based on abundance of water...when the Town and the Kombat Copper Mines are now separate entities and supposedly the water is at the mine????? Not sure who will be the Smoke Eater on this one.
