RE:Potential for a new Offer appears to be overlooked now...quakes99 wrote: Remember back in the Spring when everyone said that there will NOT be an offer made to acquire PLS before an NI 43-101 Preliminary Economic Assessment has been released. Well, guess what... it's now been released and has been available on SEDAR for all potential acquirers to peruse in detail for just over a month now. The final piece of that puzzle is in place!
Meantime, we were tied up in an outstanding Plan of Arrangement that saw no other offers appear.. but was that such a surprise? The long awaited PEA was only filed on SEDAR on September 15th... just a few weeks before the vote deadline... which is very little time for an interested party to put together an offer. Those that engage in preparing those kind of proposals say it can take 2 or 3 months to work out an acquisition plan to put to a target company. There are a lot of i's to dot and t's to cross... and the biggest one can be getting the financing in place so that an offer can be made based on funds being definitely available.
Now that the dust is settling and Ross and Dev have re-entered the marketing phase with that coveted NI 43-101 PEA in hand, nearly 3 years after the first Triple R discovery hole, I think you need to remain cognizant of the fact that another offer could emerge at any time now, especially with our share price being depressed by the general malaise towards U stocks in general. Anything can happen and a surprise offer could come at any time.
We FINALLY have the PEA that we were waiting for, so now all the necessary ingredients are in place to allow a potential buyer to make an offer. It may not happen for a while yet... but you never know.... but it is certainly something to keep in mind... ;-)
Good luck to all the patient longs!
A buck a share takes this thing all day long. cash.
