RE:RE:Why cut the Div ????????????????
Any analysis or discussion of institutional investors bailing on TBE shares because of a dividend cut is brainless. Most rational thinking institutions by now have sold their positions in this issue as holding a .30 stock is not good business. Besides the dividend yield has historically been bad for this issue witness its descent from $3 a share to the present .30. You could buy the shares for its dividend but you lost all that and much more on the capital depreciation. All in all the divco model that they extoll has been a disaster. The individuals who comprise the board of directors all need their heads examined. The divco model only works if you can hold production flat or grow it five to ten percent annually. Instead production has plunged, reserves have cratered, they are on their fourth management team in five years and they never accomplish what they say they are going to do on cash flow and production. They say they can turn this around but the market is resolute to avoid them because their past execution is so unpredictable.
