"WHAT IF ..."

"WHAT IF ..."
Yes, there's still a lot of "What if..." with PBI-4050 ... The first, and preliminary one, is .... DOES IT WORK IN HUMAN ??!! Never been proved ... but LOOKS promising ... We know that il helped ..."mice" and "human cells in culture (lab)" ... But ... let's prove the concept FIRST ... With the information I have on hands, i would say that "chance" of valuable effect in humans (for one or more indications) is actually AROUND 50 % ... Not more... Sorry, but HUNDREDS of "wonderful drugs" in mice ... FAILED in human beings ... SECOND: IF it works in IPF ("in real life"), HOW LONG does the effect last? A good product that modifies cells metabolism OR receptors ... sometimes see this effect vanish over time because of A NEW ADAPTATION of the target cells placed for LONG TERM with the product. We see it often with CHEMO ... Very good effect for the first 6-12 months, then it TRIGGERS a new "way of resistance" that we didn't suspect, from those "intelligent cells" ... like with antibiotics ... SO DON'T ASSUME that IF it works for 3-6 months that the effect will necessarily last 15 years (projections look like a "dream" at that stage). THIRD: What's the impact of the drug IN LONG TERM USE (more than 6 months for example) on NORMAL PROCESS OF HEALING (like skin burns or intern disease (infection) for example) ? If it control well "the scaring" process in lungs (or kidneys), what happens to the NORMAL SCARING process that we all have and help us to fight other diseases ?? Many questions ... Many WHAT IF ...??? PS: I am a "heavy"investor in PLI. I just want to take off rosy glasses and ask me ... WHAT ABOUT PLI IF PBI-4050 ... just fails (50 %( ???
