RE:RE:My opinion on the possibility of a deal between ALP & TeslaJust to add something, we dont know what type of future silicon has but the biggest downfall is the the fact that it expands 300% in the battery when applied as a anode. You cannot have that type of expansion and contraction in a battery first off. Graphene in a commercial application has not come to fruitation. I believe that natural graphite is the best possible solution for tesla to get their costs down, not to mention that sourcing graphite in North America is a factor that has to be taken into consideration. I agree with Dr. F, AGC has the best chance in securing a deal with Tesla, but they are not the only ones looking for batteries, other sources need battery technology and I believe that the home battery demand will far surpass the demand for EV in the future, IMO. They are in the process of making batteries and I think if the PEA was not positive then they would have not set a made a press release for it one month ahead of time. It will be the first PEA that will target AGC as a battery producer not just a graphite mine, and rebranding its image is the beginning of them shifting investors views from a miner to a possible tech play. They are making the right moves with the best team, experience, and learning from other companies that couldn't make it right.
This will work out!
