You guys realize that editables are illegal in Canada. Only oils are allowed in Canada and tweed has already built out their extraction rooms. In a recent interview Bruce said that as of November all construction will be done including Tweed farms. So no way this money is for construction. I highly doubt this money is for another buyout. 12 million is no where near enough money. So best case for a buyout there will still be considerable dilution that would be suicide for this company and stock. Don't think they'll do it. They currently have two companies losing money to pay for. Last quarter Tweed itself burned through almost 6 million . Now we have Bedrocan ti pay for as well. This money is to keep them both alive for probably only two quarters which time hopefully they'll be cash flow positive or legalization comes or we can expect another cash rise dilution. I'm betting the next financials are going to shock some of the new investors.
Surfer,
My 2 cents worth---
Tweed, with it's extraction room built out can put that extracted product into edibles and with the courts saying other forms of comsumption are necessary no one will stop the process--because the cat is out of the bag now., Tweed is always a bit ahead of the news----so it is not unrealistic to expect that they will soon have their editables out to market.
With respect to the chocolate factory--again with Tweed being ahead of the game--example--saving all their plant cuttings---instead of destroying them --as was the law---in anticipation of the alternate use of leaf to make oils to produce--editables from oils.
Tweed also has, for a long time, been helping gov. decide what the MJ industry should look like in future----ie former CEO of Tweed now is CFO of Liberal Party--and the GOV. has been helping Tweed bring their ideas to reality. Sort of a kissy kissy thing going on here.
Anyway, the chocolate factory is a brand new thing coming at us and it is EAT'S reason for being. EAT's first priorty is to make MJ infused chocolates, cakes and candies (much higher margins than smokies) (edibiles in all forms) and sell/ship them all over the world. EAT'S chocolate factory in Colorado must be close to finished now so they know how to avoid all the pitfalls and since time is of the essence--the recent consultation agreement between Tweed an EAT to help Tweed buy the right equipment, set it up properly and fast. The corrolation of events is telling and logical. There are many other potent reasons for Tweed to cosy up to EAT---access to hugh USA market being one of them.
So now the line up of possible Tweed products is-----
1)SMOKES --DONE
2)OILS --IN VERY NEAR FUTURE
3) EDITABLES--IN NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE
CHEERS--GLTA
