Posting Title: Senior Director, Market Access Work Location: Austin, Texas Functional Area: Commercial Job Type: Full Time Employment Type: Regular The Senior Director, Market Access is a member of the Telesta US Commercial team and is responsible for commercial activities which will maximize the launch, net sales and market share of MCNA and all other products.
This position directly contributes to the development and execution of the overall US business plan for MCNA and other products. This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. The Senior Director, Market Access engulfs responsibilities that focus on patient access strategies for MCNA and all other products.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Contribute to ensuring US launch readiness as a member of the US launch team
· Develop and execute the Market Access launch plan and strategy for MCNA and all other products
· Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Medical Affairs and Marketing to ensure consistency with overall launch and marketing plan
· Oversee all aspects of the Market Access teams including Payer Strategy, Channel Distribution and field based Account Manager teams
· Develop pricing and contracting strategies aligned to long term product P&L
· Prepare and implement market access plan for MCNA and other products that ensures no patient is refused treatment by their insurance plan (Commercial and Government payers)
· Delivery of detailed presentations to senior leadership regarding contracting & pricing strategies, metrics and financials on a quarterly basis
· Build and lead a HUB/call center to support patients and providers with access to Telesta products. This call center includes case managers to assist with benefit investigation, prior authorizations and appeals; copay assistance, PAP and foundation support; distribution and returns
· Monitor physician reimbursement education needs and provide field support as needed
· Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement. Work closely with leadership team for ongoing process improvement
· Build peer support and strong internal customer relationship
