risky bets that money managers take

risky bets that money managers takeif you've watched bnn and other similar programs like it , such as jim cramer , you should have noticed some very bad calls and advice that many of them talk about , i have seen so many talk and yet never mention how they choose stocks and the indepth analysis and risk associated with how they think , though some of bnn money managers are excellent at describing how they manage money in the risky markets others are just not always coming out with better information about how they take risks .

jason donneville seems smart , yet he does not clearly warns of the kind of risks that come with the kind of stocks he chooses , i did noticed he likes financial stocks which i have concerns with , these type of stocks are dependent on charging their customers excessive interest rates and fees , also valeant's model from what i learned is that they use debt to build the pharma business and then pass on that cost to consumers by raising prices , which in my view is crazy , compamies should be competitive and lower cost and not raise them .

therefore valeant is only looking out to make money at the cosumers expense , which in this case the consumer is one who is sick and is traped and has no choice but to buy a product which they cannot do wihout .

i don't invest in these types of business for many reason's but one that stands out the most is ethical . valeant is taking a big advantange of it's clients ,the consumer me thinks .

bnn should be carefull about who they let on that show , seems they are desparate for guest and let almost anyone on just for making money ....

anyways , i think the shorts showed us something important about how business is not aways so clean .

it never is , same as in politics .
