RE:RE:SU is doing some marketing/solicitation on the takeover

RE:RE:SU is doing some marketing/solicitation on the takeoverI was surprised by the phone call on Sat afternoon.... He started off with "It is Suncor phoning.." I asked how he got my phone no and his reply was from Canadian Oil Sands sources... y, I have not registered on SU nor COS respective takeover boards with my phone no.... I "suspect" share registration has the full list of shareholders of a stock and my stock holdings are under two accounts of a large brokerage firm which has my phone no...In that sense, one can trace the phone no of COS shareholders if they make an effort... It won't be phone spammers because I haven't told anyone in legal name that I own COS shares... I am very surprised because I am just a holder of 7500 COS shares.....so I am guessing (PS: my guess) the response from institutions and mutual fund mgrs. for the sale don't look great, so they try to do more solicitation from a bigger group of COS shareholders... I think he was probably someone whom SU hired in the interim to make these marketing calls and not the real SU staff. SU has money to do all these things...
