RE:RE:Layoffs - Rich PayoutsAbsolutely a severance is payable. Layoffs are a terrible part of a downturn. In my post I had a question mark after excessive? One month for every year? There is a legal framework for this and it was grossly exceeded by this severance.
My comment was also about a rollback could have saved many many jobs from that layoff. The people that are left have much to do because of the size of the layoff.
Shareholders have a right to know these things. Whether its the CEO's salary, the director's compensation or the severance pay. Just putting it out there.
