Just found it, days to cover is just the average number of days it would take to cover their short positions based on average daily volume. In NHC's case 4 million divided by 1 million average daily volume equals 4 days. Sorry I was out to lunch. But there is still possibility of a nice short squeeze with some buyers coming in. Make sure your shares are for sale for $10 it could help with a squeeze.
