More analyst upgrades
La Mancha news
Earnings (and again analyst upgrades)
Hounde news (i expect construction decision close after la mancha deal is final)
Naguib Sawiris (or maybe even the didier drogba group) becoming our oprah/weightwatchers
Exploration results (extra measured reserves)
Gold breaking out (short covering rally can lead to aquick spike to 1400-1500 possible imo. That means edv goes approximately x3)
And this in another post:
Even if edv is at 0.85 in november, we pay 150-63=87million for a 80k oz producing mine with a lot of gold in the ground, and lots of room for exploration all over ivory coast.
Btw one year of production at 1200 gold (-about 700AISC at ity) = 40million.
La Mancha deal is good for edv imo
Not True. We did not pay only 87 million. We gave away 30% ownership of EDV. Also, the 80k oz producing mine is one of the oldest running mine in that country and likely running out of reserves sooner than you think. The people getting in on this deal are not that naive that this becomes a win win for EDV's existing shareholders. EDV had a debt issue and with Gold Price not helping, took this deal , what I would compare to taking a "poison pill".
