Question for Goldcorp investors
I have been investing shares many years and it has been profitable until about 10 months ago, i invested in Goldcorp. My current investment in Goldcorp is down about 27%, and yes, I admit, it was a mistake. Goldcorp directors have not been honest in reporting their balance sheets, they always put the fake news "all sustaining costs have been reduced again and again" which is not entirely true. The average price they sold in Q3 was about $1114. This resulted $37 million lost, or $0.04 per share lost. Last year Q3 result in 2014, their average sold price was about $1266 and the profit was $70 million profit, or $0.09 per share profit. If we work-out the math from above information, Goldcorp requires the average goldprice of $1164 to break even. No profit & no lose. To the goldprice current situation, will we see an average gold price of $1164? I think no, at least for a few months or a couple of years. This mean Goldcorp will have to have many more quarterly lose in the near future. I am not deramper or something but just an serious investor. Please share me your thought Thanks
