RE:RE:beneficial for COS holders to have spare cash for poisonpillAs far as I understand, this is how it could work, For each share one owns, you get another one from COS for 1¢. Since you get 0.25 shrs SU for each share you own, It essentially doubles the value of your shares because it is the SU offer that is setting the price for COS.
For example, if you own 4000 shrs COS, you get another 4000 for $40. Instead of getting only 1000 shrs of SU without the poison pill, you now end up with 2000 shrs of SU with the poison pill.
Would this then cause SU to retract its offer. Probably. If they retract the offer, then dilution kicks in and COS falls to $4 instead of $8 without the poison pill.
