Accounting and corporate rules have little to do with it. Concordia is registered in Barbados, still until the AMCo purchase, it generated most of its business in the USA. So my point is that they are unfortunate victims of the US bourse listing , US laws, US politics and will continue to be if they want to do business in the United States ....Concordia included.

The markets are so intertwined, that you can no longer make the distinction between US or Canadian corporation.
