GALILEO APPOINTS RON RIEDER TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Galileo Petroleum Ltd. has appointed Ron Rieder to the board of directors.
Mr. Rieder has 30 years of corporate finance and business experience. Recently, he acted as the president and chief executive officer for a uranium exploration company assisting in the formation of a four-company syndicate to explore over 700,000 acres of prospective land in the Athabasca basin of Saskatchewan, Canada. Immediately prior to this, he was the vice-president, corporate finance, for a gold exploration company, where he assisted in raising in excess of $20-million over a three-year period. Mr. Rieder's diverse ventures include hosting a financial radio show, writing a newsletter focused on building a successful portfolio of microcap investment ideas for his clients, and reading and vetting a plethora of business plans. He has been active in almost all facets of business.
