RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:How long is long term ?
RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:How long is long term ? Roz-Rowlands left this to long/late in the shute-there was no work on the front end regarding sponsorship-creating expectation is one thing-nurturing it and sustaining it is another.
We are a retail story-right now anyways other than McWhitter...so when the retail investor AND THEE momentum investor were positioned already with positions..there did not leave a lot of retail investors not already tapped out.
Whereas the long investor vs trader can see the accretive value created in the SICPA deal the presentation of it falling flat traction wise on valuations is obvious...thus the momentum capital will move elsewhere
The valuations were moving higher BEFORE the SICPA deal was announced or even known-on Rowlands and third party sponsorship talking bullish about the company and its contract prospects.
So the investor vs trader takes comfort in the long term certainty gained in the SICPA deal and the short term momo player is less than enamoured with the lack of movement or reaction in the valuations on the LOI becoming definitive in nature...there are many reasons I do not approve of companies announcing LOI's...this lack of traction when they move to DI is one of them.
Many say this lack of a upward move on the deal closing coming.
Many won't see the next move up coming cuz IMO it will come without a lot of forebodding/foreshadowing warning-as the SemiC/Wafer application is
just around the corner.
