RE:RE:RE:RE:Conference call bounce As a respectful follow up for clubhouse: put the lawsuit shenanigans aside. The reason for this financing was to make a massively accretive acquisition. Last spring (long before most of the current posters on this board arrived with their bs), management stated several times in those promo videos with Ellis Martin (the ones you pumped with scarface) that they were looking to make some larger acquisitions with this raise by summer. A large acquisition would justify a financing this size, management clearly indicated this. I understand that healthcare valuations got bid up, that's what management said because of these bigger deals involving Amsurg/Tenet. That's why I didn't sell before the SA article, I was hanging on to that narrative because this raise looked great 6 months ago but it's November and still no major deals announced. Lloyd is on BNN saying that M&A could be complicated now? I was waiting like everyone for a transformational acquisition that would boost cashflows/earnings and justify this raise. The moment the SA article came out, everything became instantly complicated and now there's this huge glut of paper and a complicated M&A pipeline.
Management can save everything by making a big fat, hopefully accretive acquisition and your short selling boogeymen might get burned. I don't see how the M&A pipeline should be affected because of the anonymous blogger but whatever the reason is, whether it's increased scrutiny or rising valuations, something must justify this offering if I want to buy in again. That's why this isn't moving back up right now, it's simple math. I should have sold all at $9-11 but kept waiting and that's my fault. You live and learn. The acquisition is more important now than ever, we can hope for it and put this saga behind everyone.
