They have between 10-50k downloads with 212 reviews and from most of them, they seem farely positive. Also, I'm fairly certain bestbuy is a customer of slyce and if you check the job postings on the site, you'll see that one of the clients they mention is bestbuy. Neiman Marcus has been around for awhile and slyces app for android has been out for what? just over 4 months, so really 12k downloads for a well known company isn't to far off buddy. Also you might be right about people getting paid to wright good reviews for apps, but they also pay people to bash companies on stockhouse ;)
