RE:RE:Vote OnlineYou're probably right; if Tenny, Gregory and Goldman hold collectively 18% of the outstanding shares and have all endorsed the deal - and they're considered 'minority shareholders', we'd need something like 20M shares voting the other way just to match these 3 people. And their default "YES" for absentee votes is pretty much engineered to ram this thing down our collective throats.
But you never know. They still need 2/3rd's majority of the whole. I don't think stockhouse members are a microcosm all to themselves; I'm sure there's at least a few ticked off people out there who have significant holdings who will vote the other way. Gotta make your voice known regardless.
Looking at the balance sheet, we've got 13.2M in cash which is more than I'd thought, so taking the 3.5M US hit to cancel the deal sounds worth it at this point. I'm sure the 40+ million in market cap increases over the next week in share price rise would more than pay for that thanks. If nothing else, Harris and Langille could take the money out of their own kick along with an apology to shareholders for concentrating TRX shareholder value into a single unapproved drug and painting us into this corner, because, apparantly, the market could now care less about Tribute's numbers. Would we have needed a 20M quarter to make a difference? 30M?
On a side note, even with TRX getting its brains beat out thanks to pozn, did you notice TRX and Merus are now within a stone's throw of each other in terms of both revenue and market cap? Only reason I bring this up is because it goes to show you how little the bozo analysts on BNN know; all these bozo's flogging Merus and NHC and PHM and Neptune on that network for the last year have done nothing but cost a lot of people a lot of money.
Come on Goodman, you've got 4 weeks to save TRX from itself.... 2 bucks a share .... it's worth it man.
