Pilbara Minerals Limited is an Australia-based lithium company. The Company is primarily engaged in the exploration, development, and mining of minerals in Australia. Its 100% owned Pilgangoora hard-rock lithium operation is located approximately 120 kilometers (kms) from Port Hedland in Western Australia’s resource-rich Pilbara region. The operation consists of two processing plants: the Pilgan Plant, located on the northern side of the Pilgangoora area and produces spodumene and tantalite concentrates, and the Ngungaju Plant is located to the south produces spodumene concentrate. It owns 70% of the Mt Francisco project, which is located 50 km south-west of the Pilgangoora Project and hosts the large occurrence of outcropping pegmatites located nearby to Port Hedland. It is also pursuing a proposed downstream joint venture (JV) for the development of an approximately 43,000 tons per annum (tpa) lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) lithium chemical conversion facility in South Korea.

RE:RE:Conference call highlightsSorry amgn68, I meant that EBITA was $1.9 million last quarter, so I extrapolate to get the $8 million.  They mentioned that quarter 4 will be stronger than quarter 3 2015, but probably not as strong as quarter 3, 2014  which was over 1 million tons.    

Herb mentioned that they have a shipment booked for December 28, 2015.  If there is bad weather, the shipment could be delayed so that the ship doesn't arrive until 2016 and doesn't get counted in quarter 4.  The direction of sales and margins is in the right direction.  They both believe that there is lots of opportunity to boost sales but it may take a few quarters to see the significant trend develop.
