forecast123 wrote: The trading volume today (Nov 19) for COS is 4.2 M (cf most days COS trading volume is below 2M) and SP closed at 8.79$ (far below $10) and less than 0.25 SU (SU closed at 37.10) I think most COS shareholders are predicting the hostile bid will be unsuccessful and COS SP will recede.... Different people have different guesses as to what SP it will recess to, but from the look of things, COS shareholders have already started to sell some... If they think the deal of 0.25 SU will go thru, they won't sell at that less than 0.25 SU... Hope COS 2016 Budget which will be released on Dec 1 will get some positivity to COS shareholders and COS shares will stand on its own... Personally, I don't think COS SP will fall to 6$ if SU deal expires, but I guess probably around 8$

It would probably settle around $8. That's exactly why Suncor won't walk. The offer needs an increase...... and Steve knows Suncor won't do better anywhere else, and COS shareholders should know this!!!
