I think there's a chance that another bidder may enter the arena; some on this board have already suggested a few possible miners in the 'local vicinity of the STADF mines who may show interest. I agree that the offer Kirkland made seems low but that maybe because they expect competition from others and so are keeping some ammunition dry. Don't think the meetings to vote on this bid by shareholders are until Jan so there is time for others to enter. Even if no other bid appears and the move goes through I think when analysts finally sink their teeth into the newly formed company - looking at around 300,000 ozs per year produced with costs at below $700 per oz, plus the very positive impact on P&P reserves and M&I, then improved SP targets for Kirkland will appear. If (big if ) gold prices begin to move up this also will compound the SP and former STADF could feel finally well rewarded. JMO
