RE:RE:It looks like TRX shareholdersI don't even know what the %'s are now with all the S4 amendments and Deefield's loans and shadow equity stakes. I don't think its 66-34 with Deerfield's involvement, but I honestly don't know anymore. These bozos couldn't have made things more complicated and obscure and uncertain if they tried. Maybe someone should tell them the market hates uncertainty, and when you're in a 100% stock deal... that's kinda bad. Huh? Huh?
I guess the good news is that, because the tax changes are retroactive to 2014, Aralez - if it ever happens - lucked into being forced into a Canada domicile instead of showing up in Dublin and finding out they still had to pay US taxes. "OOOPS! Hey everyone! Pack up those empty Yosprala boxes boys - yup, the ones we've been carrying around for 3 years because we can't get aspirin approved - we're heading back across the pond!"
But yeah, there's no way they're going to give TRX a bigger slice of the pie. Harris has no belly for negotiation, even though they have POZN over a barrel. Adams will just convince Deerfield to take a bigger piece (or a piece, depending on how you interpret the latest S4) to further screw over TRX shareholders. There's no speciality pharma trading at such a low earnings multiple than TRX. Nice work guys. Way to look after shareholder interest.
Bright side is, if/when Aralez gets formed, Harris and crew will be gone. I recognize their achievements to date, but they've botched this thing up so badly, I wouldnt want to keep money with them any longer if the deal falls through. They'd have to go, or I would. Adams is proving to be the superior CEO here.
psssssssssssssssssssssst hey Adams. If you move to Quebec they make you speak french and do business in french. Helps to think of these things ahead of time, so you, y'know, don't have to pack up those empty Yosprala boxes and head to.... "where we going next boys?"
"Winnipeg!"
"Winnipeg? What's there?"
"The NDP."
"Never heard of them. Sounds promising. Let's gooooo!"
