Do you mean an uptrend as in from the from the 24th of Aug to the 31st or from the 29th of Sept to the 5th of Oct?

Which one of those up trends make this one any different? Until a new higher high has been made we will remain in the consolidation range with NO new uptrend being in place. Trendlines, indicators and price levels all point to a continuing trend NOT an new uptrend
