RE:MarketingI think the answer to Your question is quite clear: They don't have the money to pay for such a massive marketing campaign for their own (visible) product. They need all their money to further develop their products and to integrate their clients in them.
I agree, there must be a huge, massive marketing campaign to make shoppers becoming aware of Slyce and it's products and the benefit's, shopers can get from using them.
Their clients will probably do marketing, providing their own shopping apps, where Slyce technology is integrated as so called (non-visible) "middleware", but without bringing Slyce' name to the front. So if the people like the apps from Neiman Markus, the use Slyce' functionality without realising, it is Slyce technology, they are using.
I think they should use much more affordable viral marketing as a means to make their name and products known to people. I am living in Germany and here the apps are good for nothing. I don't no about the popularity of Snip-Snap or Pounce in the US or Canada but who would notice Scout ? A neighbour of mine runs a marketing company and they do a lot in viral marketing. It's a key strategy to become well known amoung a selected target group of customers.

I am talking about advertisement in mass media targeting general population. Timing is perfect - the biggest shopping time of the year, Scout offers to save an average of 15% so… what are they waiting for?!?
