RE:RE:Quebec gov't...affect on CXR insignificant, however

RE:RE:Quebec gov't...affect on CXR insignificant, howeverI forgot to mention the most important thing.  Regulations on drug prices will have minimal effect on Comcordia anyway since their business model is not based on jacking up prices like other pharmas.

Slinger14 wrote: If, if, if.  If the sun stopped burning, we would all die.  There is an "if" for everything.  Like you said, Canada is only one jurisdiction.  Quebec is a sub jurisdiction.  So a Canadian province MAY pass a bill that could potentially affect drug prices in a market Concordia basically does zero business in (not sure the amount of sales come from Quebec.  If somebody knows, please post.  My guess is very, very small percentage, if any).  So what if, down the road, European countries start to bring in regulations on drug pricing?  It is not even being discussed.  This bill in Quebec will have no effect on Concordia whatsoever.  Don't try to spin this to spread fear amongst investors.  You are trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill.

If the US & Europe see what Canada (Quebec) is doing to cuts healthcare costs & decides....we can do that, that changes everything in how healthcare costs are controlled.
No place to hide.

The key word here is controlled & regulation.

Healthcare costs everywhere are out of control; so the sector may see a paradigm shift; if it hasn't already!  Investors & speculators may see the writing on the wall & when they do...game over.
