Order! Oder! I'll call the meeting to order.Ok Fraser, whadda' we got this month? No cucumber growing operations are there? Ha. Old joke Glenn ... not funny. Let's see.. grass growing op in St. David's, surf board factory in Nain; bison farm on Fogo Island; and finally some kind of cooperative mill in Millertown. Ok guys lets get too it. Bern, you're handling the grass growing file are you? .. is this some Codroy Valley Hippie tryin' to make a buck? No Glenn bye. This is not the wacky backy - tis Kentucky Blue. Apparently, Troy Bartlett and his wife got a couple of horses that they thinks are pretty fast, so they wants to build a harness racing track down in the Valley. Looks pretty solid to me. Juicy Jack, Bern are you nuts? Sure, them horses will blow right into the Cabot Straight with the wind in Wreckhouse. Next! Surf Board factory in Nain. Nope. Hey, Fred, what about the bison on Fogo.... sounds like a good idea. Whaddya' got? Come on Glenn bye. Did it. Don't work. Remember Joey stuck a bunch a buffalo on some rock in Placentia Bay 50 years ago. The fog rolled in and they all fell off the cliffs like lemmings. Ok. Ok, let's not try that again. Glenn, Glenn, let's do the mill in Millertown. It rhymes! Hey Bob, you're right it does rhyme. Whadda we got? Oh Glenn, she looks good bye. 7 deposits, not much in any of 'em, but man it looks good on paper. Whaddya mean not much in 'em? Well, there's the crumbs from Buchan's - 23 million tons for enough Zinc to make a bag a nails. Domino - so deep, you'd be better goin' at her from Brisbane. There's Lemarchant, Tulks, and a few more. Sounds like a whole lotta' nothin', Bob. Well. we gotta' spend some money Glenn and there's no friggin' way I'm puttin' my name to make surf boards to be totted behind skidoos on the tip a Labrador. Ok boys whaddya' think? All in favor? Passed. A half a million for the doomed, but promotable mill in Millertown. Meeting adjourned.
