RE:RE:RE:Very QuietTommy,....yes agree that rates are going up. and probably only  a quarter basis point...I don't agree that this means stocks get hammerred...in fact this has been the longest discussion to decide to raise rates, and I fully expect the market has priced in this rate increase.

What's not priced in is the pace of rate increase  as I don't expect this rate increase to be one-time....after the Dec icnrease, then the discussion will be how fast, and if it does go up fast, then you are perhaps right...hold onto your hat.  However, the rest of the world is either on go slow, and in fact are reducing them - europe as an example....so, I think the pace of rate increases is going to be slower than some think, and thus market will adjust over time without the volatiltiy some expect.

But who knows...my crystal ball is always cloudy, and my wife thinks I need reading glasses.
