RE:2015 Leveraged Finance Conference LTS webcast today 8:10 AMWebcast with CFO just finished, was worth listening to. For those who feel LTS is doomed this presentation seems to give some light on LTS's ability to survive. Some points I noted:
LTS still generating surplus cash flow in this environment.
LTS has put in some hedges in place for 2016 for approx $50 WTI to protect against possible future lower oil prices.
Even with current lower prices LTS expects to still be at upper range of cash flow guidance.
Operating costs are down.
Keeping good drilling locations for future use once price recovers.
My thoughts, seems to me that this doesn't sound like they are doomed to failure today, looks like LTS can hang on for a while yet. I am concerned if oil remains low for too long though LTS will indeed face a more uncertain future. Hopefully the projections of oil prices bouncing back somewhat in the first half of 2016 come true for all our sakes. The webcast is available in a little while for replay, link below if you would like to hear for yourself. GLTA kmapp.
