RE:100,000,000 extra shares coming on us?I'm not an in-house guru, but in my opinion I don't expect a dump when those shares become tradeable.
Those shares were issued to 3 healthcare investment funds and 1 company insider. They are not held by day trading hedge funds. Those healthcare funds did not invest in Telesta to day-trade stock; they are long term investors who hold PhDs, who viewed the data and commercial opportunity for MCNA and decided they wanted to be a part of that opportunity.
Yes, they probably were all expecting an AdCom "yes" vote, but they also are aware of the Ipsen EU deal and Japanese opportunity outside of FDA.
Also, if they desperately wanted out of MCNA post-AdCom, they could have short-sold stock as soon as the results came out to hedge their position until they can offload.
So, long story short, I would be surprised if we see any selling once these shares become available. If anything, they would likely wait until the final FDA decision in February.
Just my two cents.
