RE:RE:RE:Owning COS vs SURonaldco - I re-read your post and thought your point on "when you only have one asset and...." When one buys stock of a company, you buy it because you like its business model and products... When we buy COS, we know that it only has one main asset, it is an upstream company and hence its SP ( as Ryan said) 98% go in tangent with oil price... If one doesn't believe or like this business model, one should not even buy this stock in the first place... If you dislike or disbelieve in COS to a large extent, why not just sell all you COS shares and find other investment which suit you ! You need not be part of this takeover stuff at all because one can always sell your COS in open market and spend the money in buying stock which suit you better ... BTW SU SP is already in very high valuation which may not be at an attractive entry point....
