The Company serves various industries, such as defense, aerospace, automotive, telecommunications, precision manufacturing, and others. The Copper Alloys division manufactures and distributes a variety of copper alloys as castings and forgings, including beryllium copper, chrome copper, and aluminum bronze. The Engineered Materials division makes the Beralcast family of alloys, which can be precision cast and are used in an increasing number of defense, aerospace, and other systems, including the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. The Company’s products include Beryllium-Aluminum Castings, Beryllium Alloys, Copper Alloy Castings & Forgings, Copper Alloy Fabricated Shapes, Tolling Services and Consulting and Thermal Mold Super. It has production facilities in Indiana and Massachusetts.

Copper casting

It seems everyone is talking only of Beralcast and IB relationship to LM. IB is mainly a copper cast manufacturing company and all the palnts are for copper casting. Beralcast was supposed to be an icing on the cake. When copper price are depressed and there is no cake, icing does not help. IB is selling dream by projecting itself a supplier to LM while its true business is copper casting
