RE:RE:cxrThe 8.49 million shares given to Cinven was an amount that was fixed when the agreement was signed. If you go to the original Sept 21 transaction summary, the share component was valued at US$0.7 billion which equates to $82US per share. Just because the share price happened to drop to $29.19 on the closing date does not affect Concordia in any way; the share amount was fixed in the original deal.
I would assume Cinven shareholders would value their equity in Concordia closer to the $82US as this was where the deal was done... unless they had a crystal ball and could see the share price dropping off a cliff over the next month.
