RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Iae gooing to be sold at a $1 imoNaka, there is a chance that I will walk outside this afternoon and be killed by a shard from a meteor. But I'm not worrying about it. Although you claim to not be saying that IAE will definitely be taken out for a buck, you obviously are placing a very high probability on this happening. High enough that it seems to be really your focus right now. And this is very different from your take of IAE from even two weeks ago. What I am suggesting is that like your take on the Saudis cutting production (again, you attach a high probability to this - just go back and read what you posted), you are again incorrect in your thinking about an IAE takeout for a dollar. Is it possible, well obviously anything is possible. But is the probability of this happening high enough that it warrants more than a passing comment on this or any other board? I don't think so for all of the reasons that both you and I have layed out.
You claim that Delek are tough business people. Well, I got news for you, so is the BOD and management of IAE. As I stated before and will harp on again, why in the world would the BOD allow two Delek executives on to the BOD is there was a high probability of them stealing the company? Does that seem like a rational management decision to you, because it doesn't to me. And especially when IAE was not desperate for the cash. There is OBVIOUSLY more going on here than we know and if IAE gets taken out for a dollar, the options that management has acquired will be worthless and their 10 years of work will be in vain.
From your perspective, the Delek management group are a bunch of sophisticated financiers and the IAE group are basically the Beverly Hill Billies. "Yup, I'll take that thar dollar a share, yup, yup. No, really you can have it Mr. Barsfield. I was just going to buy my wife some new wooden teeth with it anyway". Come on Naka.
