Quarterly Reports

Am I right on this schedule? Their earnings release at the end of August was for the third quarter ending June 30th 2015. Therefore the 4th quarter ended on Sept. 30th. So the 1st quarter of 2016 actually ends on Dec 31st. 2015. If they have set up their year according to that schedule they must have a pretty good idea how their 1st quarter is going since it is almost over. Any help would be appreciated. B
