KBIO also has around 6 million shares after they consolidated and a "genius" owning half of them

Where the story is absurdly entertaining (from my perspective anyways) is one trader, Joe Campbell, went short KBIO for what he saw "as a nice $2.00 fade coming," and decided to go $35,000 short  KBIO - he kept his account at $37,000 as he wanted to manage what he could afford to lose.  After placing his trade he went into a two hour meeting.  When he came out, that's when he heard the news of the stock surging.  Never did he think that Etrade didn't have some kind of stop or circuit breaker in place if the account went to $0.

He has launched a GoFundMe campaign to crowdfund for the $106,000 he owes Etrade.  Ouch.
