I agree moonshot5.  I also would have figured that they would have done a merger in the past.  With a projected After Tax IRR of 27.7% and a After Tax Payback Period of 3.2 yrs., you would think they would have been an attractive target, of course, that was based on 2013 figures with copper at $3.44, gold at $1,286 and silver at $23.68.  I believe managment always wanted a little more than what the market forces were willing to pay.  I'm not sure if it was a case of greed or simply bad timing/luck on where commodities and the capital markets were heading that brought us to this current situation. 

At this point, like you say, its a case of "survival without massive dilution and warrants that go with it."
