Is it possible that MIE is buying up all these shares every day to where they would almost own the whole company?

No – it is impossible. The vast majority of shares owned of LRE are Institutions & Fund Companies who are holding & not dumping. Also, the vast majority of small share holders are neither selling. Except for two blips, one almost a year which was a 7.5 mil sell off by a Fund Co. & just recently a sell off of 7.5 mil shares by a risk speculator(s) who paid very little for the shares but had no money & so had to suffer a loss.
Other than that, trading has been insequential & yet we see the share price. The major investors have not paniced & whenever small investors sell, shares are gobbled up. This demonstrates the confidence in LRE. Again,  it begs the question – why isn’t this being reflected in the share price?
Study other companies who are going bankrupt or have suffered bankruptcy & you will notice that LRE does not suit the pattern; thus, it is an easy assumption to make that other manipulative factors were & are at play to bring down LRE.
