It's the Pits

It's the PitsAn open pit proposal would be awesome. However, we need to be realistic. EOM management has been diligently working on an underground proposal for some time. I doubt they will change tack, start over and get into the open pit lottery. In time, an open pit may indeed reside in Angostura but only after the underground operation peters out and the Government sees opportunity to continue the revenue train.

The upside is that just the potential for open pit will generate a premium if EOM is bought out. I would hate to see our already lengthy time line extended by changing the concept from underground to open pit. It would be a gamble similar to Greystar when they lodged their EA one month before the new mining law took effect. We all know what happened, it got trashed and gave life to the environmentalists. I would not like to see EOM play roulette with my investment.

leftseat, where art thou? Please bring your insite to the table. I for one value your input.
