RE:TUO's Value according to Tex
So what's your problem, Junglej? Was I wrong? Am I wrong? Can you guarantee that none of Teuton's prospects ever will be productive? This is the Golden Triangle, Junglej, and these prospects form a circumference around the largest deposit of gold in the World. Of course, this explains why the vermin are here so often, trying to do what they can to cause the ruination of Teuton. They want Teuton's properties. If the properties are worthless, why would any of you be here, and if it isn't the properties, then what is it?
I made a simple suggestion of how easy it would be for Silver Grail and Teuton to settle a debt, if forced to do so, so what happens? Does the suggestion receive any consideration from the peanut gallery? No. Instead, it's all about the properties being worthless and Texasidiot twisting everyone's words. Well, then, Junglej, if the properties now are so worthless and Silver Grail doesn't have any money in the bank, is your suggestion that Teuton do to Silver Grail what American Creek did to Teuton? Haven't you learned anything, Junglej? Should Teuton ask the bailiff to garnish and auction Silver Grail's interests when a simple title adjustment could eliminate the debt?
My, you must be a good businessman, always thinking of the bottom line. Did it do any good for American Creek to have Teuton's properties garnished, other than to poison the well, which ultimately hurts the American Creek shareholders much more than Teuton's? Yes, squeezing did force a consolidation and I'm sure you and a few of the others enjoyed it immensely, although on sober reflection you might have realized that your real target, Mr. Cremonese, couldn't be impacted in the least by the consolidation. In fact, it made things even better for him. But now we have a poisoned well, and this time the well wasn't poisoned by Teuton. Not this time. And what good has all of this done for a share price? Victory in Court, two garnishings paid, other costs paid, high grade assays, and the share price goes down along with the likelihood that Treaty Creek ever will be worth anything, except as a salable asset, as long as Teuton owns 49%. Nifty job of painting, eh? A classic for the textbooks.
Well, then, if Teuton's lawyers think that Teuton could sell or mortgage its many "viable prospects" that Ohsureskees and apparently you say are worthless, leaving only Treaty Creek, it appears to me that American Creek could be forced to do the same, especially if its lawyers decided force the issue. But do they do this, Junglej? No. They don't want to strangle a horse gasping for air; instead, they have hopes that the horse can recover and they're willing to wait until a client's financial situation improves, rather than stripping this client to get what is owed immediately. Besides, these lawyers and American Creek have had a good relationship; hence, there's no need to push the dagger. Isn't that wonderful, Junglej? Silver Grail and Teuton also have had a good relationship, so using your logic, there's no need for Teuton to push the dagger either. If forced to do so, then you know there's an easy solution, a simple paper transfer that ends your complaint. Sleep well.
Of course, Teuton could acquire all of Silver Grail's interests and become a much more valuable company, but maybe it's the case that some people are more decent than others and they do care about their shareholders and the shareholders of other companies. I know it's a novel business concept, but sometimes letting debts ride causes wonderful things to happen in the long term and, conversely, demanding immediate payment frequently causes way more harm than good.
Well, Misty wished me a merry Christmas and I want to take this opportuinity to wish him the same. I'd like to wish the same to you, too, Junglej.
